Maybe you’ve noticed but Pinay.org is crawling this days this is because I switched DSL provider (actually same provider different services they said a better speed) to avail their VoIP service and of course, to save money but I ended up frustrated and causes lots of trouble and wasted time talking to the ISP tech support which by the way not as technical as I expect, maybe they should think of outsourcing their tech support to not India but Philippines.

Last night I noticed that my server (it’s an IBM xSeries 340 dual P4) run out of space that’s why it’s sending an error message when you open the gallery, the good thing I still have an extra 4Gig on my other drive which I forgot to include in the fstab. So, I made changes to the /etc/fstab created a sym link to point to that extra space, restart the fs deamon and now I have a an extra 4gig space but I this might run out too, so I guess I need to get another SCSI HD which BTW can be hotplug.
Anyway, I might move this site to a “real” hosting company so I don’t have to worry about the speed,bandwidth, security and connectivity problems but Im still going to host all my photo’s in-house using different domain name though.

I really like this new version because of a clear satelite scan where you could actually go from different major cities in the Philippines, just like riding in a low flying airplane. Oh try na!
